Those he meets include a scientist in Copenhagen, whose groundbreaking research into antioxidants indicates they may not have the extraordinary health-enhancing properties that people believe, and a nutrition scientist from the University of Greenwich, who tells Giles that on average most people in the UK are meeting their vitamin requirements thorough their diet.
